Carver of the Month

Hi, my name is Dan Bailey
and I have been a member of the circle city carvers for around 13 years
and have surely enjoyed it and learned a lot from a super group if
friends. I retired from G. M. in Feb. 1993 and shortly after that
started working for the Marion Co. Sheriff Dept as a Deputy, now in
recovered vehicles and plan to retire in about 11/2 years and enjoy what
life may offer me and my hobby of woodworking, as wood carving,
woodburning, and building rocking horses and what ever comes into mind.
woodworking can be a super hobby for most people as it has a large area
to choose from to enjoy. I try to remember that the only person I need
to impress is myself in my hobby and just enjoy what God given talent I
